Survey: Americans are Using Massage for Health Conditions

According to the American Massage Therapy Association’s newly released 2017 Consumer Survey72 percent of individuals surveyed claim their primary reason for receiving a massage in the previous 12 months was medical (43 percent) or stress (29 percent) related.

Over the past 10 years, consumers have quickly learned the value and efficacy of massage therapy as an important approach for health and medical conditions.
